Parliament in recess

Parliament is on half-term recess and the lobbies are empty. 650 Members of Parliament are ostensibly 'engaging with constituents'. In practice that means a mixture of school visits, local fetes, and sleeping in. Official business resumes on 2 June. We'll be back then with the usual forensic accounting of who voted how and on what.
